The sod-turning at Foothills, Killinarden marks a positive step forward as construction officially gets underway on a development that will deliver 635 new homes delivered by Arden Developments in partnership with South Dublin County Council. Attended by the Tánaiste and Minister for Finance, Simon Harris TD, the Minister for Housing, James Browne TD, and the Mayor of South Dublin County Council, Cllr Pamela Kearns, the event highlighted the importance of the scheme for the area.
The development will be delivered in phases and will include a mix of 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom homes, designed to cater to a wide range of buyers. Importantly, many of these homes will qualify for supports such as the Local Authority Affordable Purchase Scheme, the Help to Buy Scheme, and the First Home Scheme.
Overall, it’s a strong start for a scheme that will deliver a mix of homes in a well-connected South Dublin location.
